Akahana has been my go to sushi for nearly 10 years. The sushi is fresh and the service, whether you have pickup or dine in is always consistent. The BOGO sushi is the best deal in town.
Quick service in a low key environment. I loved bogo sushi night. Service was fast and the food was fresh. Perfect bites before a night out with my friends.
Best sushi in all of Charlotte. It's affordable, too. I choose Akahana over literally any other sushi spot. It's just that good!
Unfortunately I looked at the sanitation score after placing an order . I would have never order from here if I would have seen the score and violation report. However, I still at the food which was pretty good. I said a heavy prayer lol and hoping that I don't get sick from eating this food. lol
I've been here twice and it's my new spot!!! The specials are good, the staff is really nice! I had an amazing server Ella and the bartender was also great. The sushi is good and I loved the egg drop soup (not pictured). The restaurant isn't huge and I could see how someone would over look the space but they always have good music playing and the environment is welcoming.
Stopped in here for dinner. I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. They have a special every day of buy one get one free. This was the perfect opportunity to try different rolls! The sushi as fresh and delicious.
Really enjoy this place! Come quite often! Emily our waitress is always great! I have had her several times and her customer service is wonderful! She's great!! Definitely recommend sitting with her! I love the wonton soup! The lomein was great! Also recommend the sesame chicken and the fried rice top tier! The spring rolls are SO GOOOD! The sushi is great also! BOGO so that's nice! Highly recommend the Sunset Roll and Charlotte roll! The Miso Soup is a MUST! Also love the music taste!!!
Akahana remains at the top of my list for asian food in Charlotte!! Every time I eat here, I always get the best and most consistent food! When I dine in, the customer service is always great! The owners are so kind and courteous. When I order take out, the food is always ready very quickly! The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are very good! There's plenty of parking in the parking lot! I recommend the pho, pad thai, and buy one get one free sushi!!
